Vision Hack, the inaugural global visionOS hackathon, is set to take place from September 13-15th, 2024. This groundbreaking event will offer participants 48 hours of intensive development time to showcase their skills and creativity in the realm of spatial computing. We are also pleased to announce that we are joining them as official Media Partners.
The hackathon will be conducted in a fully remote format, allowing developers from around the world to participate from the comfort of their own spaces. However, for those seeking a more collaborative environment, optional local meetups will be organized. The registration fee for this event is set at an accessible $25, encouraging widespread participation.
To sign up for the hackathon, please visit the official Vision Hack website.
What sets Vision Hack apart is its innovative approach to team collaboration. Participants will utilize Discord for communication, but in a first for hackathons, they will also have the opportunity to use spatial Personas. This cutting-edge feature promises to bring a new dimension to remote collaboration, allowing developers to interact in a more immersive and engaging way as they work on their projects.
Vision Hack is brought to you by XR industry veterans Cosmo Scharf (visionOS Dev Partners), Matt Hoerl (Beautiful Things), and Brian Boyd Jr.
